just got our Permanent resident visas
Well we just got our Permanent resident Visas it was quick and painless and only took ten minutes without any anaesthetic.
So it now looks like we are staying, its been a quick and enjoyable 26 months so far and we have also moved from Napier to the Kapiti coast so you never know what is instore for you when you start the train ride.
So happy christmas and a very Merry New year from 5 happy PRV holders.

For those who don't know - and that might just be me - what is it about the train ride?

Hi stormer,
I know what you mean we sat on the deck last night having a few beers looking over the beach to Kapati island, The whole family including our son from the states is here and we had the eternal discussion of have we done the right thing? On the balance of our first two years "hell Yes!" we wouldn't be doing half the things we do now if we still in Coventry. The kids 15,19 & 21 all love it and have made good friends and are doing well at school and start uni at Victoria in Feb. The oldest lad has even been training and playing with the Wellington Phoenix whilst back from the states and might be looking to return next year after graduating. (couldn't have done that with the Sky Blues lol)
So being "sent to Coventry" is not an option we are looking at any time now, Let us know when your coming upto Wellie and pop in for a Tuatara beer.
