On the job market side of things (for accounts clerks/admin staff), I'm hearing that for any vacancies we are getting really good candidates, and normally several with excellent relevant previous experience. Which is a complete turnaround from 18-24 months ago.

I think maybe I need to check the set out of my CV. While I have been out of work I have self taught myself MS Excel...but if I dont put this into practice I will forget half of it. I actually went to College in February this year and learnt MYOB (at a cost of $140) so I could apply for jobs which included that...but so far no entry for this...I will be forgetting what I learned if I dont get something soon.
