IT Help Desk - Client Services Consultant (Wellington)
Are you looking for a new challenge? Statistics New Zealand has an exciting opening for a real team player to join our energetic IT Service Centre team. This is a brilliant opportunity to hone your technical experience and outstanding customer service skills within a dynamic help desk environment.
As the Service Centre is the public face of our IT department, we are looking for a person with:
excellent customer service and communication skills
loads of initiative and enthusiasm
proven first-level support expertise
a professional, self-motivated, flexible and can-do attitude
the ability to identify, resolve or escalate problems quickly and effectively
experience in working individually as well as part of a team
commitment to achieving challenging objectives in a positive and friendly manner.
Preferred applicants will have:
a relevant IT qualification
IT helpdesk / technical support / call centre experience
ITIL fundamentals knowledge
demonstrated ability to produce quality documentation
competence in Microsoft operating systems and Office suites
exposure to Lotus Notes or Novell product support
Successful candidates will be working for a great employer, in a friendly, motivated and supportive team, who encourage training and promote learning and personal development.
