Job websites??
Just putting a few feelers out, can anyone please point me to the most useful websites when job hunting in New Zealand?
Looking for what I would guess will be mainly government positions, in emergency management/planning (yeah, I know, my timing is priceless!). Not particularly bothered whereabouts in NZ, and if anyone has any leads or contacts I'd be really grateful

Not sure of any specialist websites for what your looking for, but the most common ones to use are trademe.co.nz and seek.co.nz, you will find most agencies go through these site.

Hello lovely!
I have a friend who works in crisis management and she's employed by the local council. You'd have to pick an area and then google the district council. Also try Civil Defence?

Local authorities are responsible for civil defence
District Health Boards seem to have emergency planning officers.
This says there are no current CDEM vacancies but perhaps email with the bloke .

Indeed since December 08 most Government departments are still working through large scale amalgamations and restructuring; thus there very few new position being advertised externally.
