Default Job searching

Hubby and I plus two children are hoping to move over to NZ. We're originally South African but have been living in the UK for over 13 years now. Hubby is in banking and I'm a writer. Can anybody offer any great recruitement links they've found to be useful? Would be grateful for any tips as we're just starting the process. Have been liaising with a visa agency meantime who are guiding us too. Thanks in advance for any advice.

These are two that I can come up with. I don't know whether there are any specialised sites you can look at.

Any reason why you are using a visa agency? It is fairly easy to apply for a visa yourselves, most of us have done it. Just that they are very expensive!

www.jobrapido.co.nz
www.jobseeker.co.nz
www.careerjet.co.nz

Also if you look up FAIRFAX MEDIA and register you can get local digital versions of newspapers sent by email when they come out, this is free and most have a classified section for that area for jobs available.

Subscriptions, digital edition and go from there

Good luck.

ps. Agree with Persephone, you dont need an immigration agent, do it yourself.

So, I can give you the complete list, which may or may not be helpful as there are a lot of links, but industry-specific too. Here you go:

GoingIn2011, ellenarosemary and once again to Persephone, a very big thanks. I am bowled over by the generosity of strangers sharing your insights and knowledge. And any thoughts of using a visa agency are now banished - thanks for wising me up!
