Job and quals query...
Hi all
I'm new to the group and wanted to ask some questions. A little about myself and my family, so I lived in NZ for 14 months back in 2011/12 with my parents, we lived in Waikanae, outside Wellington., but we all moved back in March 2012. I've always wanted to go bsck tho. Now I'm married and have 2 children of my own and I want them to grow up in NZ not the UK! My husband is a software tester and I am a HR administrator. My husbands role of software tester was on one of the skills list but it does mention qualifications but my husband doesn't have quals, it's all been learning on the job and the odd courses. Does this mean nz wouldnt accept us? Would it sitll be worth job hunting?
I would move back tomorrow but my husband wants to visit first because he has never been, I'm convinced he will love it but not sure he would take the kids from his parents. Anyone have any experience and can help with how they deal with being away from family and not visiting often etc?
Thanks in advance for any help and advice.
Sarah
