Hi,

We have signed up with a few recruitment agencies and even went out to NZ to meet them but all have said they cant do anything until we get our visa's. I work in HR and my husband works in environmental science we regularly check seek and trademe and there are jobs out there, they just seem to be out of our reach at the moment. Has anyone overcome this huddle? Any advice welcome!!

Try approaching companies direct and cut out the agent

whilst i was over there i tried a few agencys but i also knocked on a few doors direct and got better results (AND BETTER MONEY) that way

I think you might find employment agencies are a waste of time. Much better to contact likely employers direct

This is a both confusing, cos both of us are using the same login! Jan already has a job offer and I (Neil) am looking for work on all sorts of heavy plant, road and rail - though there isn't exactly much rail over there
