Well at least it's not Saturday night, I guess. That would be even worse.

I've done the same, but I like it, it's peaceful. Mind you it's probably my first Friday night in or not having friends over for about 6 weeks.

I meant to do heaps of "stuff" around the house but felt mildly sick after too much sun, drank some wine and felt mildly better, spoke drivel on the phone and faffed about online!

Don't worry, the 'stuff' will still be there tomorrow.

Any one at enough of a loss, or in desperate need of some new towels or a frying pan, can go late night shopping at Briscoes tonight; they're open until midnight. How exciting is that?

What is that noise? Oh yes, the sound of a barrel being scraped. Seem to remember you can buy Barrels at Briscoes. Is that uniquely annoying woman still doing the adverts?

Strange isn't it that you think you are missing something....when the reality is you are really worrying about being too old to enjoy yourself on a Friday night....

I am strangely immune to her unique ways now, she used to bring out the worst in me, but she seems quite normal and has no adverse effect on me anymore.
