This thread just made me do the counting. 20 weeks for us 
My first shock of realisation was when we got approval - up until then I had been preparing myself for rejection. Never occurred to prepare myself for acceptance
I'll be watching your progress with interest because just when you arrive we'll be exactly where you are now!

Where abouts in Auckland you looking to settle?
In case you haven't, take photocopies of a few mortgage statements, bank bills, car insurance no claims etc and bring them with you. Certainly helps to have them straight away to get rentals/insurance etc with!

My parents live in Orewa so we will be staying with them for a few months while we get started in jobs etc... Takapuna's lovely, went shopping there with my mum a few times!
We quite like Stanmore Bay, Army Bay and Gulf Harbour end... but we'll see how it goes, open minded!
Yeah I was advised about making sure we had mortgage/bank recomendations, no claims proof etc so I have been busy collecting them all, hassle but as you said sure will be helpful when we need to get our own place and car insurance!

Time really flys whingeingpom, its frightening! We booked our flights when we had 18 weeks and we are down to just over 9 weeks now, its unreal! Very excited tho, enjoy your countdown
