.... near Christchurch, and my two of my doggies think so too

That's it really, just wanted to share some happy thoughts  Who cares how much money we lost or whether we can find Tetley tea bags

Two months in - and we're still in love with NZ.

it's actually a rented house in an olive grove just north of ChCh, over the Waimak river, but the house we are buying has a similar amount of garden although more formal, couple of pics of new house attached. It's near this area but not in an olive grove.

We move in 3 weeks, can't wait :D

Wow the dogs look well happy, that garden look fab, glad your still enjoying it, the new house looks great. can i ask if you had much trouble renting with the dogs? we too are coming to CHCH area, fingers crossed and am planning on bringing my georgous Lab and two grumpy cats with us, but was a bit worried about how they would travel and if we would be able to fine a rental with them. Yes we did have trouble, this was the only house we found that would take 3 dogs. We were turned down by one landlord who was OK with one dog but not 3. All landlords will insist the dogs are outside when you're not in. OK if its fenced  this one isn't ;)

You've only got one dog so you should be much better off. Cats don't seem to be such a problem (might be wrong here). The thing we did learn is that renting a furnished house is impossible with pets, understandably.

If you look outside the city it should be easier too.

It's a cracker ain't it?! Been to the beach for ice cream and a stroll, then back to plant some veggies, and now just got in from our first session of sun bathing in thegarden.

Love it!

hi there .Love the piccies of your dogs, they look really content .my parents used to own a staffy ,we loved her soo much .she had to be put down after getting a brain tumour .We own a boxer dog and she is absolutely fantastic.I think we should start a doggy thread as we all seem to love our babies and it would be nice for people to see how happy our dogs are in NZ !!
