IRD Numbers
Just a note - if you you have applied for your IRD number and you have been waiting for a week and need the number urgently. You can always ring them on 0800 377 774 and get them to give you the number over the phone.

We mailed the application to them on the 6th and we had not heard anything by the 15th so we rang and they informed us of the number by phone. But it sounds as if faxing is the way to go.

or call into the office - its in Takapuna for those in the N Shore then call them in a couple of days to get the number! easy as.......
