Interesting washing line observation...

Re: Interesting washing line observation...
I'd trademark that one...
could it be that the sun is upside down in NZ? - polarisevapocondensation, possibly?
or, to do with the Coriolis force thingie (you know - why the water goes down the plughole the wrong way)? - rotatoperspirational-reflux perhaps?
in my experience drying is down to fabric type first, but I'd expect the pillow cases to dry quickly......unless you were lazy and left the other washing stuffed inside - I've gone that with socks...doh...
otherwise the suns rays could have refected off the lights and increased the solar gain on the darks.....
or were the lights more in the shade....
or was the wind blowing past the darks towards the lights....
or your mangle was playing up when you wrung the lights out.....
or sh!t happens......????

Ducks do wee, the wee is mixed with the pooh in the cloaca before being excreted via one orifice [the vent]
Right duck anatomy lesson over, I want to know about the washing drying!

I can tell you that if you have stains on your whites and you leave them out over night on the line the stains will fade. Works especially well if it rains.
