Inter island moving companies
really don't want to do it myself.
Can anyone recommend a moving company Auckland to Nelson? Im looking for cheap obviously $5k seems to be the cost so far.
Ive heard of getting good deals on moving companies doing backloads but I'm guessing we are going in the wrong direction

$5k sounds like a bargain to me, assuming it's a quote from a recognised mover.
We paid that for Wellington to Tauranga a couple years ago with Conroy's and your move is a lot further and has the added Cook Straight crossing in to the mix.
Wouldn't recommend trying to go the cheapest option. As Justcol says they don't take much care of your stuff. To get cheap the mover has to cut corners to make money out of the service and unless you have the move insured your stuff is at risk. They'll rush and they'll use staff without much or any experience.
