Default Insurance - Car and House

Quick question...I need to insure a 4x4 and the contents in a rental property.

Who's the best (cheapest)???

Also, the online quotes I've gone for require a NZ license or I have to settle for an increased excess, god knows why, considering the 'great' driving standards, here in NZ. So, am I better off getting my kiwi license now?

Cheers all

Paul

We are with Westpac, they were much cheaper than the AA & a few others. Didn't have to pay any excess when we were on UK licence. You could take a trip to the AA office in Orewa & get your NZ licence.

Agree All of our insurances are with AMI except the bikes which are with Swann via a Harley Davidson dealership (your bike doesnt need to be a harley could be a jap bike to get insurance via them).

Our policies were up at the end of February and after calling round several insurance companies AA, Tower, State to name a few AMI were by far the cheapest.

Got a quote off AA on line, then went into AMI in Orewa and they beat them by $100 on both counts. So, now an AMI customer and very happy with the cover they provide.......

Thanks for all your help (Jan and Neil, you're stars!)
