Infringement notice
 
Does anyone know if an infringement charge for no seat belt (even though was literally driving out of petrol station whilst putting belt on) is a criminal offence will it show up on a police check??

Motoring offences (unless u killed someone) are not a big deal at all, i wouldnt even mention it

No its not a criminal offence and it will not show up on a police check. I am ex UK plod..don't even concern yourself about it. If you have demerit points on your drivers licence you should 'fess up to the insurance co..but as far as NZIS go, no worries. If you are in any doubts about it put it on your form..I guarantee they will not be interested AND I confirm it WILL NOT SHOW UP ON A police check. You need to have had your prints taken to have that occur.
