Cool Indefinite Returning Visa

I note that after spending 2 years living in NZ, one can apply for an indefinite returning visa. How does does this differ from the one you get for the first two years.

It's indefinite, your original one expires, check the dates in the original one. The "must not arrive after DATE" will be two years after your first one was issued.

So it means its still the same. 6 months live in nz each year, so it does not expire. (new zealand parent policy) Hope to go back and forward .

Is there not a minimum residence time in NZ during the first RRV criteria before they issue the IRRV? Does 6mths in and out meet that???

During the first RRV you must spend 184 days in NZ in each of the 2 years , but those as far as i know don't have to be in one block.

Does THIS THREAD help

edit...
I've just read a couple of your posts.

Would you be interested in maybe writing an article for BE ? It would be about how you arrived here, the visa and your new lives here. ?
