I'm new!

OK, rubbish thread title, but I am new (well, to this forum at least).

Approaching 5 years in NZ (Welly) and looking forward to applying for citizenship soon. All got me thinking about when we moved out here and how usefull folk on these forums were - thought I would see if I could lend any advise now I am 'on the other side' :)

Thanks everyone :-)

I've read here and in a few other places how much people enjoy the citizenship ceremony. Looking forward to it even more.

We hit 5 years in September this year. I have to admit I'm a little confused about when exactly the five years is up. Yes, the 5th anniversary is the obvious answer, but given you only have to be in the country a certain number of days each year could you technically qualify after that number of days in the last year... I suspect not - I should stop pondering and just wait.

Anyway, thanks for the welcome :-)
