We are planning a trip to Auckland on Sunday in our usual half-arsed way (ie :not planned at all). Anyone up for a coffee? It would have to be at some easily recognisable landmark as I would have to navigate. Steve wants some gravy granules so Sylvia Park is a must!!

its pretty close to Mt Wellington..............what time are you due? Might get MrsL interested but it would have to be after our weekly visit to the local chapel in the morning, we were thinking of visiting one or other museum in AKL on Sunday so a coffee/chat could be fitted in, any other takers?

I have been to Auckland 3 times. Well, twice really as the first was driving away from the airport. Second time, we went to visit Jac & Adie and I was there last week for a Parole Board hearing. It reminded me of Aberdeen a wee bit. So really, no sightseeing as such

It goes without saying that once we cross the hemisphere, we’d be more than happy to meet up with any Expat for a drink although Im sure some of them may require a little more alcohol on our part …. Seriously, we’ll certainly be arranging a “Cant Believe We Made It" BBQ to which those locally and those willing to travel will be more than welcome. But in particular, we’d like to make a special mention to Mr and Mrs PHIL01, Booby and Kato33. Phil03 – goes without saying, you are the gurus of this relocation lark for the trucking community and a big thanks for your support and help so far. Boopy…you sound great fun and any rock chick who drinks Vodka goes a fair way in my book and Kato33, Im sure we’ll have loads in common once we’re in NZ....what will we do with all that spare time..

Just to add my two pennies worth - I have to say some of the older names that I've not seen for a while that have not yet had a mention would be Sky and Campbells (where are they now?).
