so pick another mountain to hike up: SnowdOn is the Disneyworld of UK mountains, it's like complaining about the crowds at Alton Towers. If you really want to get out in the wilderness in Snowdonia why don't you try the Glyders or the Carnedds - just across the valley from Snowdon, the views are just as good (Welsh weather permitting) and by comparison you'll have the place to yourself.

Re: I Moved To NZ For ...
nice cup of coffee every morning .. and a more balanced life.
can't be bothered doing anything before my morning coffee. When my coffee is crap, I feel my day is crappy....too (little bit)
my morning:
turn on music (Preferably Terry Hall.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6znRtWl_B4w)
do the dishes,
drink a cup of cold water,
eat a banana,
make coffee - this is my favourite fab coffee beans . http://www.coffeesupremeshop.com/bea...xcellence.html ($60 per kilo )
sit down to a cup of hot coffee, read news/friend's UK blogs on the internet/check emails/weather.
have a shower,
eat half a piece of blueberry bagel with cream cheese and raspberry jam. I love Wholly Bagels. http://www.whollybagels.co.nz/static/aboutindex.htm
take Vitamin tabletS
eat an apple
prepare more breakfast to take away,
dress up,
walk (30 minutes) to the work in the sunshine.
Absolutely positively NO crowd, No air pollution, No traffic jam, never rush or push each other on the street, (No subway crowding for exmaple - I HATED IT!!) which is damn good Nothing like Japan
---
can't imagine doing such silly things (in the morning - no spare time for relaxing or anything fun.) if I lived in UK. When I lived in Edinburgh, I had to drive to work, and was stuck on the road for 50 minutes - morning and night.
life is easier here. (to me anyway )

I'm on my way from misery to happiness today
subject to NZ Immigration, selling the house, finding a job in NZ and finding somewhere to live in NZ that allows two shy retiring dogs through the front door.
