I miss Ant and Dec...

Re: I miss Ant and Dec...
I'll never understand why women like men.
After all women usually: Have nice curves, silky smooth hair, smell nice, dress well, are demure by nature...etc.
Most men usually: Look like they've been dragged through a hedge backwards, smell like they need a shower/trip through the car wash and can barely string a sentence togeather.
Honestly, women just make better toys .

Whaaaattt!!!???? No Top Gear in NZ????? OK, this calls for some serious re-evaluation of plans...
(Considering that I don't care about cars at all and that I'm a bit of a greenie, I am addicted to Top Gear to a very worrying extent...)

You can still get your fix of Jeremy, Richard, James and the Stig over here.
[though probably a bit behind the times as are most programmes from back home]
Can't remember what channel though...

Top Gear's shown on Prime over here, which is available on Freeview HD. You're best using Freeview anyway as the analogue signals are usually pretty poor. (The last series of Top Gear shown on Prime was the latest one that the BBC showed too)
You can also watch all of the UK's Freeview channels on-line using TV Catchup - for this you'll need broadband and an account with a UK proxy server service. The one I use costs 70 pounds for the year and works a treat. With the UK proxy, you can also view all of the BBC iPlayer channels - couple of cheap cables and it plays perfectly on our normal TV. We didn't even have to miss "The Apprentice"...

We watched the latest Ant and Dec Sat Night Takeaway last night.... go to uknova.com and join up to be able to download UK TV. You will also need utorrent or similar to D/L the programmes and for that you need to go to utorrent.com. BUT you need to keep a balance between how much you upload and how much you D/L by keeping the shows seeding in utorrent..... marry a computer nerd and you'll be OK!! (none of this means anything to me but O/H just told me to type it!... hes the resident nerd around here) We also D/L all the latest Top Gear and Dr Who too, we usually get to watch UK TV a couple of days after its been shown over there

Why don't you go and put on the kettle pet and leave the technical talk to the men .
I've never really considered it worth getting a UK IP (internet protocol that is, not the libertarian political party) address before. I suppose this would be faster than a torrent though if they are uploaded straight after they appear on TV?
