Hi,

Presently I am in Christchurch and I have been granted a job offer in Oamaru
as everybody know Oamarau is very small city...!
I need a flatmate but i could't find ...!
I tried in TradeMe just 4 flats !!!

Please any IDEA (WEBSITES or other) to find a flatmate in Oamaru..... !!

The site was probably originally set up to match students with accommodation, it uses advertisements, matching and emails, bit like a dating service.
When I got to Christchurch, last August, the squeeze on rental accommodation had already started.
I managed to sort a room in a house where the landlady was happy for my two dogs to be kennelled outside.
You'll have to pay a small fee, unless you already have a pay-pal account.

Hello Mate, i was in Oamaru myself 12 months ago but not anymore.
Ive more to Otematata as im working at the Benmore dam.
(An en even smaller town!!)

Id love to help the guy out but i wouldn't know anyone who he could flat with.. Even the place i was flatting changed owners..

Once you do get sorted, give me a shout and i can meet you in Oamaru for a beer / chat if your a bit lonely eh.. I know how that feels..

I found the place i was in on trademe.. no help but..
