Default HRV / DVS / Weiss / Cleanaire

They all make bold claims but is there actually any difference between what they do, is one a clear winner or any that should be avoided at all cost?

Not too fussed about heat, just want some good ventilation to try and sort out the wet windows and general feeling of dampness.

madao, We had the HRV system fitted into our house 1 year ago, The house is 3 bed 2 living areas. When we first moved in we had streaming windows, single glaze, the Rimu sills had water marks on the varnish and every morning I had to de-water all of the windows. Since the fitting of the system we no longer have condensation on any window other than the bathroom and we also get the benefit of warm air pumping down to heat the house providing the sun is out. The house air is now dry so the heat pump works more efficiently not having to dry the air. The attic contains two units one feeding the living areas and the other the 3 bedrooms. If we moved to another similar house tomorrow it would be the first thing we would install. The house gets fully aired throughout the year without having to open the windows.
As you can gather we are pleased with the system.
Thinking back it would have been a winner in our UK bungalow, though I think lack of sun hours might have reduced it's efficiency.
