How much time to shift stuff?

We moved to NZ in Oct 2016 and our container arrived in Dec 2016 (after major upheaval due to the Kaikoura earthquake). Anyways, we still have a garage full of 'stuff' in the UK and are looking at shifting some of it over when we visit Europe in a few weeks' time. Will we have to pay GST/tax on the stuff we ship or does that still come under our previous allowance? TIA

So long as you declare the possessions are yours and owned by you for at least 12 months you should have any problems. You obviously have to declare you'll not sell anything within 2 years as that would attract GST.
