How many members are in NZ
 

I would be interested to know how many members of this group live in NZ?

I have asked many question and received very few answers.

We are going to live in NZ in June 2005.

Sorry if Iv've not been as helpful as possible. The move was 2 1/2 yrs ago now and I've forgotten some of the details like shipping costs etc and we came out on the old points system.
Also the usual things keep me from long drawn out answers, hubby, 2 kids and 1 dog to run around after, organising drama, soccer, swimming etc. Also a part-time job that requires me to go in fancy dress today!
Only reason I have time for this reply is hubbys job is so busy he is on 7am starts!

Teacher Aide, its book day today and we all have to go dressed as a character from a book, I am going as the White Rabbit, my daughter is going as Alice and my son is Dracula.

It should be fun, all the staff are joining in, the principal included.

:) Sorry for not answering all your Qs- I don't have a house to rent in Hamilton, nor did we airfreight any stuff out here, and I have no idea about prescription charges (but expect this can be found out on NZIS or Ministry of Health websites).

Broadband as you know it is not widespread in NZ. Jetstream is widely available, and is a form of high speed ADSL operating I think at 256Mb. There are a number of ISPs you can use, but in the main they still all use Telecom NZ's copper wire infrastructure so there is not a lot of price competition at present.

There are wireless providers also, such as Woosh.

Been here nearly 2 years, like Paula said (Watt Dabney) said forgotten most of costs etc and also came out on old points system.

A white rabbit eh? do you buggers ever get any work done, like us hard working Nelsonians!! :p
