First the freezy homes and now the rubbish healthcare. Gwon then , is pollution next or perhaps the price of a tomato?
You want to live in NZ and do not need a visa then just come on down. I am sure you will survive.
BTW are you a Brit as you type and spell as a USC abd the idea of finding healthcare is rather American.

Our health service is okay, it's not the best in the world but it's certainly not the worst. It has similar issues to a number of other countries, underfunding, an ageing population, burned-out staff, underpaid staff, under-staffed etc.
I'll take it over the American system, for example.

I still cant get over that herald article - imagine divorcing your husband and after 30 years him calling up saying I'm in hospital, come and clean me poop up! And then doing it, for ages, then whinging about it!

I write like this because I've been living in North America for a while.

I was wondering all these things too BEVS. I wondered if we have a pot stirrer on our hands.

I guess she cares for him, even as a friend, in sympathy. He has incontinence and no-one was looking after him or changing him. That's kind of sad.

there's nothing normal about the examples you've given
Healthcare is fine and free
If you want to pay for private, go right ahead
