How do you change your name in NZ?
Hi,
I want to change my Christian name to the name I use now (Harry). How do I go about doing it? Do I have to do it in the UK or through the consulate, or can I just do it at a local courthouse?

I'm not resident in NZ, and so can no longer do it at an NZ courthouse. Yet another way NZ manages to annoy me. 
I guess I'll have to try the consulate. I want to get it done before I go home.
