I've got a job offer coming through for North Shore Hospital, I have no clue about the area if anyone has any suggestions in terms of accommodation etc for my partner and I.

We are probably looking at short term renting or lodging with someone in a similar situation if anyone has any links?

deoending on when you are coming your best bet is to look on trademe for rentals and to get to know the estate agencies that also do rentals. For the first few weeks a serviced apartment apartment or holiday home might be best.

Trade Me has a flatmates section if you want to share with other people. Or you can
look at the rentals on Trade Me if you want to get a place by yourselves. Most of the North Shore is very nice, especially the areas near the beaches, so you can't go too far wrong if you pick one of the suburbs near the hospital.

Trade Me is used for EVERYTHING in NZ, it's a huge buy and sell site. It's our equivalent of EBay (with property for sale/rent/flatmates wanted also on there, not sure if EBay does that).
