Horrific crash on M5 in Somerset
Just reading numerous reports all over the internet. I know that we have some members who are currently living in the Taunton area, or have lived there (myself included). Hope all are safe

Oh really
Thank you so very much for those caring and sharing words for people finding themselves in terrible circumstances now. Was this horrible moment not large enough then? Not enough people? Not enormous enough?
I've been in those horrific RTA circumstances. My parents were severe burn victims in another incident but hey , doesn't count for anything does it but a mocking response.

I just caught a news report about this on the TV. Dreadful, dreadful accident. My heart goes out to all those involved. There is no good outcome from a tragedy like that

Not a good time to be in Bridgwater right now, a friend has contacted me to let me know her family is all okay, and added that they nearly had to evacuate their house earlier that evening due to a flood threat when a riverside wall collapsed:

To be fair it was several people on the other side of the world, several among 7 billion just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Thanks for that Charismatic, I'm sure they reacted in just that way over the Christchurch earthquake. Except I know that they didn't, cos my friends who live in Taunton and Bridgwater got straight onto the internet to check that we were okay and also anyone that we might know in Christchurch.
I started this thread as I was genuinely worried about my friends, and BE members who I know could have been on that stretch of road at that time, I thought that others who know those members might not have heard about it.
What a twat.

Terrible - just awful.
God there are some stupid drivers in the UK. "I could hardly see a thing" - so drive slower you halfwit. Trouble is, you do the right thing, and some crap-for-brains rear ends you.
