Default Home Grant Scheme

We got a mailer in our box yestrerday about saving money on your power bill.

It mentions a grant that is available through the EnergyWise Home Grant Scheme.

There are certain criteria that you must meet to qualify, but might be useful to some people on here

You'd need to be on a seriously low income to get this... the same criteria for the Community Services Card in fact.

http://www.workandincome.govt.nz/get...hresholds.html

For an average family of two parents and three children, your combined income needs to be less than $62,684 INCLUDING any benefits such as Working Families....

In that case we qualify since both my wife and I work seasonal and our income is about average for the area we live.
