Default Holidays & Travel Agents

Hello - can anyone tell me where kiwis go for their holidays? What are the costs? Are there any online travel agents we can have a look at to get an idea?

Thanks

Kiwi attitude to holidays is quite different from the brits.
They go to Fiji and surrounding areas, Aussie is very assceccsble.
try the www.flightcentre.co.nz
As young adults they tend todo there O.E which seems to give them all the overseas experience they need until in late 40's or when retired which is when many of them go again.
To be honest the majority stay at home they go camping or to a batch spend it with freinds and family, or to the snow in the winter.

We went to Fiji,to an family type resort probably average or 4 star quality.. on an island called Plantation island in March/ early April 2004 .Total cost (including flights) for 2 adults, one9 yr old and 1 18mth old at the time was $5000 for 10 days. We were fairly frugal..ie we got the cheapest accomodation(motel room) ,didnt eat at the restaurant for every meal(there was a small supermarket and we brought bread and soups etc and also our youngest was free flights under 2,plus kids ate free in the deal we had.
It cost much more to go in the school holidays so we avoided them.
