Holiday Lets
 

Hi.

Does anyone know of any or recommend where to look for short term holiday lets for approx. 3-4 weeks.

Would need to be minimum 4 bedroom and ideally located in Greenhithe or East Coast Bays area.

Need something furnished as our furniture would not be expected to arrive until circa 4-5 weeks after we land.

Have a query on my medical to address.

We are coming under skilled migrant category - my wife is a teacher and has a job offer for Long Bay College - I have also received a job offer.

If all goes to plan (fingers crossed) probably not going to get the ok from NZ House for another 10/14 days so likely to be a big rush.

We booked a rental home fully furnished when we arrived and found this link useful:

My work colleague has several houses he lets out on a short term basis. These houses come fully furnished. You can look at www.alternativeaccommodation.co.nz My work mate's wife runs their rental business.

In addition www.holidayhomes.co.nz and www.holidayhouses.co.nz

We used one of the above to find our holiday home that we stayed in when moving here.

We did the same when we arrived, took a fully furnished and equipped holiday home for 6 weeks through www.bookabatch.co.nz. We found similar on www.trademe.co.nz but to contact landlords from trade me you'll need a registered NZ address to get a user log in.
