hi there
Hello to you all, been trying to think about what to say for a couple of days, so here goes.We are looking into making the move to New Zealand , we have never been there but have always said it would be the place for us to go, we have looked at the EOI and we are a little confused by it all .Was wondering if it was worth going to the expo in March next year to see if we could find out anymore about hubby's line of work, he's an electical engineer/sparky/fitter in food manufacturing, looking forward to being a part of the forum xx

Hi there Rachael, welcome to BE. It's all really very confusing at first isn't it! But if you read through the site here there's a lot you can learn. I was totally clueless when I first joined but I learnt so much from everyone here. I'm sure someone will be along very soon to help you about OH's line of work. Good luck to you!

Hi and a big welcome to you both
All daunting at first but well done for finding this site. You will find loads of info on here & some great personal experiences from those who are making the move and those that have made the move.
Not been to any expo's but to be honest would def recommend if you can to go over to NZ & do a reccie.
Post in the main forum & hopefully someone more qualified will be able to answer re hubby's work.
Good luck to you on your journey

Hello & another big welcome to this friendly informative forum
If you use the search facility you may find answers to some of your questions....others have posted about the expo's, eoi etc.
Good luck with your plans and I agree with Dewb ...if you can visit NZ first its worth it but many emigrate without visiting first sooooo...... individual decision I guess.
