Hi everyone,

My wife and I have just moved to ALK, well we have been here for about a month now, we have moved into a small flat in the middle of the city, a massive block of units on nelson street. figured this would be easy to start with..
I am 30 and my wife is 27. we are both from london. I am network engineer and my wife is an airline operations controller. both normal folk, (arent we all :P ) just looking for a better life out here for our future family!

we have been around and travelled the south island for 3 weeks before coming to AKL to start the boring job hunting process!! which we are finding tougher than we imagined... this poxy recession has hit here too!
we should have come out a year ago we keep getting told..:curse: which is great advise.. NOT!

well we are here now, and looking to meet up with some people, just to go for a pint in town, or anywhere in AKL really. we have a car..


so if anyone is in AKL already, and has some spare time, or just needs a break from job hunting.. get in touch...

we're up for a laugh! there are some lovely places in AKL..
