HGV Driving
 
Hi guys,
has anyone taken their HGV test over in N.Z.if so can you tell us how it went cost,medicals, etc. I work on the ports now driving plant so was thinking of maybe giving the trucking a go. thanks.

You have to have a full licence and be in the trade (have work experience and able to prove it) in order to get a work visa...and you need a job offer for a work visa.

Ideally you need to get your HGV in the UK and get a few years experience behind you.

Ok thanks Phil i already have an RRV havent been back for 7 years now. Think i will be giving the transport a go. might as well get my ticket here then. Thanks for your help mate.

I take it that is an IRRV, as in Indefinite Returning Residents Visa ?
