I'm a United fan, but even I know he'll score 12 goals in the next 6 games, then wont score for six weeks. Can't help but think that the injury to Berba came just as he was starting to look good, and with Wellbeck, Macheda and even Owen struggling a bit we'll need him back soon to shoulder the burden.

Rooney has already achieved much more than Gazza ever did, and seems much more grounded. I dont think he'll ever achieve the standards people first thought he'd attain, but he's a world class player, if not a world class goalscorer
