Re: Here's why I want to be in NZ
I remember one morning we had 8 ins of snow overnight & we hoped the teachers wouldn't turn up, but they all got there & one had walked 4 miles with a couple of tennis racquets (yes racquets, not snow shoes!!) strapped to his feet!!! Now, thats dedication for you, not like these wimps nowdays!!

Always say was under influence of drugs when got married....Diazepam & Distalgesics, good job we have some photos & cert to prove it really happened cause don't remember much about it........then again that could be due to other influences!
Looking forward to celebrating birthdays & wedding anniversary in the summer!! Joint wedding anni celebrations it is then!!
Yep, the south west is having some of what the North & East have had since Dec 20th.....really hope it doesn't last tooooo long

DD and DS both off playing on the moors, poor mummy off to work. OH walked to work all togged up.
NZ cuzzy who is here thinks its great, although he's not so keen about having to walk to work and back in it every day.
Worst of it is we have a lovely new slippy roof, and skylights in our attic bedroom, so the roof has warmed up and is dumping the snow BIG time on the flat kitchen roof at back and my car on the drive at front Going to have to time my leaving the house carefully!!!
