Help......When do I apply for a job??
As my ITA has not been submitted (E Mail to say EOI approved, ITA on its way), how long does the ITA take to process?
I want to apply for jobs but not sure if I am able as I don't know how long approval will take.
Does NZIS hurry things up if you have a job offer??
Are employers more cautious of you if you don't have residency??

I can't really offer much help, except to say that I recently had a telephone interview and that company was willing to wait up to a year for me to arrive 
Therefore I would say, apply now
but it really is up to you and if you feel if you want the security of a job offer before you take the plunge or if you are willing to take a bit of a gamble

I would apply now. I did it this way, but it did take almost 2 years that was mainly due to the ever changing rules of the NZIS. No really set way i guess, but to me getting a firm job offer is the way to go. It depends on how you plan to get in. WTR (work to residency) visa you must have a job unless you get tons of points for your trade etc. Just ask on here you will get loads of help and good sound advice.

My missus had an interview a few weeks ago and we dont have PR yet. Go for it mate

go for it definately... i made some tentative enquiries over the tinternet & through my locum agency & had a phone interview within days. my training in the UK means that my job is not on the skills shortage list but because they are an accredited employer over in NZ they can hire me under a talent work visa for 2 years , after which i can apply for PR 
got the job after 1 phone call & 2 e-mails !!!!!!!
you may find that because you'll be in demand they will go out of theyre way to get you over there
& be more than willing to wait for you until your ready..... so...go on

Yup Agree. Start applying now.
NZIS will try and accomodate an NZ employer where they can , so if successful have them build in a reasonable start date for you.
Take into consideration the time it takes to arrange shippers, sell house , say goodbye and all that.
