Hi there

We are about to sign up to a removal company's insurance policy for shipping our goods which is 3% of our worldly goods .

Has anyone used a cheaper insurance company for shipping??

we used the shipping companies as they were cheaper than one I looked up on the net...but I didnt do much research in to that, just thought it was easier, so I am not much help really, sowwy good luck anyway

Not much in it 2.8% with PSS or you pay by the £1,000 for x amount with others. Would need to look that up! plus, bear in mind - over-under estimate? The choice is yours!

Some insurance policies offer a mechanical failure insurance in addition to the 3%. For instance if the hard drive packs up in your pc in transit or condensation builds up behind the lenses of your camera. Sounds like a good idea to me.
