Hello to everyone,

just wondered if someone could help, i have a nursing agency phoning tonight and not sure what they will be asking. They also asked me to save any questions for the phone interview. Any ideas appreciated

Hiya, they will probably need to what experience you have; what areas in nursing you work; whether you have NZ nurse registration yet; when you intend on coming over; whether you have any preferences as where to work etc- just to give them an idea of your situation, so they can match you up with suitable employers HTH, Ali

Have a look at 'cultural safety' on the NZnursing council website so that you can answer anything they may ask about it.

They may also ask how long you intend to stay in the country, how you will cope without your family / support networks etc. We were asked these things at our nursing interviews but were not interviewed by an agency.
