There's Greenlane hospital which i think includes National Women's Hospital - where nearly every person is born in Auckland.
And the Children's Starship Hosp.

Have a look here: http://www.everybody.co.nz/page-00df...74cff1292.aspx

Not sure why you're doing this research - but worth noting that if you have a medical emergency you can go to many emergency DRs/departments around the place - just drop in without an appointment. So if you think you've broken a bone etc you don't have to go to the casualty dept of a hospital, you just go to the local "white cross" centre - most shopping centres have them and most are open til 10pm or some are 24 hours. They have scanning and x-ray equipment so they can perform most emergency procedures for you.

Re: Help RE: Auckland hospitals

i'm doing it to find the nearest hospital to where i am going to work for my partner. The agency she is attempting to get work through want to know her preferred hospitals in the Auckland region.

The closest one is Auckland hospital park road grafto , but we want to make sure we call it by its right name i.e. is it auckland hospital or auckland city hospital.

Re: Help RE: Auckland hospitals

ahh - I've just had a look for the correct names as there are 2 adjacent to each other in Grafton - Starship Childrens, then there is the main Auckland hospital - but see your dilema as it's also referred to as the Auckland City Hospital (which also houses the Auckland Women's):

Starship Children's Hospital
Park Road
Grafton
Private Bag 92024
Auckland 1
website www.starship.org.nz

Auckland Womens
National Women's Health
9th floor support building
Auckland city hospital
Grafton
Auckland
New Zealand

Auckland Hospital
Park Road
Grafton
Auckland
Ph. 09-379 7440

??? not sure exactly what the correct title is I'm afraid.

Have you tried the ADHB web site? It shows all the current vacancies in Auckland and is quite informative.I think the link is www.adhb.govt.nz.
Good Luck
