Hello all ,

Can anyone recommend a decent financial company to deal with matters such as tax , pensions , property issues etc prior to our move to NZ later this year. Any advice will be gratefully received

What exactly are you looking for? Most people manage their own accounts etc. prior to leaving. You declare you are leaving prior to boarding the aircraft and the taxman will sort out any discrepancies with the IRD here in NZ, at least that's what happened with us. We used the ASB to transfer funds from the sale of our house and used a financial adviser for Insurance and pension advise once we got here. Any pension provider will gladly charge you to transfer your pension (you might want to wait awhile until the exchange rate is a little better though!).
