Hi everybody

Anyone out there in the IT world?????
I'm coming out in Feb with my family on a visitors visa and I'm worried about arriving without a job.
I've searched this forum, Trade Me, recruiment companies and general web sites and I've seen jobs out there that suit my skills but I'm not sure when to start applying for these jobs.
Are there only limited companies that employ expats and are they willing to wait several months until you arrive.
Are job interviews over the phone the norm or the exception. Lots of you seem to have done this, anyone's experiences in job huntuing would be greatly appreciated.
