HELP ME WITH A SECRET SANTA GIFT!!!
Help me! Please
I need to buy a secret santa gift for a male, in his mid 20s, who lives in the UK.
I don’t know much about him other than that. Any ideas of things which would appeal? He apparently likes ‘villa park’…so that’s football right? And Asia. I know he has travelled to Asia.
Any ideas what I can send him. I’m thinking budget up to about $50?

If he's in the UK and likes Villa then can't you buy something from here. Or I'll sell my son whose name is Aston, but it'll take a smidgen more than $50!
We've purchased from that website many times and they have always been excellent.
Or does it have to be something in NZ? Infact I'm confused how come you are buying a secret santa gift for a guy in the UK?

Ideal gift if he likes Aston Villa.
Villa shirt signed by their current manager Martin O'Neill

I find Hawkins Bazzar really helpful for unusual gifts. they have a lot of bizarre things that particularly appeal to men of this age. i am sure they have a website, you could probably get it posted direct to him.

Ark sorry!
Long story how it's happened. But it should be something from NZ. But as for what he likes etc...I have no idea.
Other than Villa Park.
I don't half get myself into pickles sometimes.

The two don't really go together really. If he's an Aston Villa fan (they play at Villa Park) you're not really going to get anything from NZ to do with that TBH.

Oh I'm being unclear by mentioning that.
What I really should have asked is "what can I get a 24 year old bloke in the UK who I have no idea about". Considering I am a 29 year old female in NZ.
He does like travel though.
I thought of a selection of CD's? Yes, I know CDs are frightfully 2001 but I thought like maybe a Smashproof CD, LadyHawke, one of the Finns and Mint Chicks? Some music from kiwi artists (ok, ladyhawke is pushing it considering she was bigger in the UK)
Bit of variety?

Not a massive fan of Kiwi bands personally, so not sure about that. Only thing I would check is , does he still use CD's? I know a lot of folk these days have MP3 players and plug them into a docking station at home.
Last birthday i sent presents for to the UK included a box full of Kiwi gifts etc. For example - all blacks shirt, shot glasses with nz flag, stubby holder, paua chain... have a look in some of the souvenir shops for a few more ideas.

That's one problem actually - I wasn't sure about CDs. Although I figured they can be ripped from a computer easy enough (legally for own use...).
Phoenix stuff is a good idea! I didn't think of that. He may wet himself laughing if I point out that they made a record of 'most draws in a row".
I wasn't sure about the NZ music...which is why I thought if I did I would cover myself a bit by getting different types. Although if I start buying CDs that would cost a lot and I could get a good gift for that.
Can I buy Phoenix beanies I wonder? Hats, not beanie kids.
