Help with bankrupcy in NZ from UK
Hello dear friends,
I am a british citizen with NZ residency since 2000
About 6 months ago I returned to the UK from New Zealand for a family medical emergency.
My situation in NZ was not great and a I was contemplating applying for bankrupcy.
My question is, can I apply for bankrupcy in New Zealand from the UK?
With the help of my family and hopefully a job I am able to sustain myself in the Uk but It is my intention to return to New Zealand in a couple of years' hoefully with some savings to start afresh in New Zealand.

It doesn't (as far as I can see) relate to being overseas but it may give you a start and of course there are contact details there.
I'm not sure if any members here are qualified in or would have experience of this sort of thing.
You might want to see if this could affect your residency as well.
There is a link on the revenue site to the insolvency service but it didn't work for me but it is here.
Google brings up quite a lot more as well.
