Hello all, We are Debby & Mark, along with kids Georgia 8, Milli 6 & Lucas 1. We're going through the visa process at the moment, having been selected from the Pool, but as yet haven't heard what the next step will be. We're hoping to get to Wellington - and settle in Wainuiomata, any feedback, views or comments you have would be greatly appreciated! Especially in relation to schools and the general neighborhood.

hi and welcome to the forum, you have come to the right place to ask questions, there are lots of people on here with the experience to help you. we are going to submit our eoi next year and also intend to head to wellington. let us know how it goes , sam:thumbsup:

thanks for the response... wow Paignton - we were there only a couple of weeks ago - the inlaws have a static caravan in Goodrington! If we ever get a response to our EOI we'll let you know.

hope you were down when it was sunny, since school broke up it has not stopped raining:thumbdown:. how long ago did you put in your eoi? i'm always intrested in the timescales. sam:)

yes it was hot sunshine when we were last down there!

We put our EOI in, and we're selected between 1st & 4th of June I think. At the time we thought we'd read that it would take upto 6 weeks to get to the next step - although reading from the NZ immigration website - it's actually upto 3 months!! (as we have no job offer). Mark has an interview tomorrow night so hopefully if he gets an offer I can forward onto the London office so they can speed things up a bit.
