Hello North shore/Auckland
Hi there,
I've just realised that I have been here for three years now. Wowee - that went really quickly!
I'm a West Country girl (36) married with no kids yet.
I'm lucky as I have my family here too - but I don't have any friends here. Husband and I have some mutual friends here but I need to meet people to have some me time I think.
My work colleagues are not the friendliest of Aucklanders and I try to avoid mixing work and social life!
Need to meet people with a good sense of humour, I miss my UK friends but hopefully going back for a quick visit this year!
So anyway - HI!!!

Hello & to our friendly NZ forums DarthVeedar. Have you had a look in the Meet-ups forum yet? There are a few meet-ups happening on the North shore from time-to-time. So you're sure to meet some like-minded individuals there.
Time certainly does fly-by when you're having fun. We've been here for very nearly 5 years now.
Happy posting!

Hi there!!
And welcome to the forum!!! My husband and I both live on the North Shore. We are from the UK too, both in our early 30s with no kids. We have been in NZ for almost 2 years now. Would love to have coffee sometime, it's always good to meet new people :-)
Take care,
L x
