hello from luvwelly
Hi All
Just read a post where someone got jumped on for not introducing themselves before making their first (negative) post so thought I'd better make my second post an introduction!
Been here a couple of months but only just moved into what will hopefully be permanent accommodation and got properly unpacked. Here for OH's job and have 2 youngish school age kids.
Am a Brit but was previously living in another EU country before moving here and so am really enjoying the fabulous English-speaking customer service, great coffee, restaurants etc ....even the winter weather has seemed mild...there has been little wind and lots of bright clear sunny days with blue skies so far.....and I was expecting winter...I am told it was much worse last year though!
Browsed this forum a lot when waiting for visas etc.....you seem a very supportive community but if you don't mind, at present I don't feel comfortable revealing much more than Wellington location and and the basic details given above. This may change .

Re: hello from luvwelly
Hi and welcome!
Hope you are enjoying Wellington and you've all settled in ok. We've been here (Christchurch or thereabouts) for just over 3 months now. I won't bore you with all our details here - but if you need help sleeping you can read our blog!
And yes, there's a great bunch on here - you'll never be alone and any problems or questions, however big or small or silly, just post a thread, someone's bound to have an answer

Hi luvwelly.
If you need a trip out of the capital, you would be welcome to come up here for a coffee (about 20/25 mins drive). PM me if you'd like to meet up (I have 3 boys, 2 at school and the third waiting for a kindy place).
