Default Hello fromPapakura

Hi All,

First post but used the site a lot before we came out for advice and since then looking for links to pommie things. Thanks to all who post advice and info.

Moved over from Guildford, Surrey nearly 4 years ago. Been in Papakura the whole time and we have increased from 2 to 3 since we've been here.

Currently stressing about little one saying tiddy beer instead of teddy bear!

Hi and welcome to the site.

I'm in Rotorua at the moment but heading up your way soon. Will actually be working in the birthing unit in Papakura but living in the city (moving from Rotorua as I'm a city girl so decided actually living in Papakura was not the best plan!)

Catch you for a coffee when I get there!

Hello Marmite Toast. We turned up from Woking in February this year. Got rocked out of Christchurch and now live in Wanganui as that's where my husband was offered work. How goes it in Papakura ?
I don't pronounce words like a kiwi until I hear myself say prissure instead of pressure. I've heard my kiwi husband say siven instead of seven for years....now I'm doing it !

Hi Lisa, good plan you'll be going to other way to all the traffic on your commute. Fingers crossed we/Mrs MarmiteToast might be a customer of yours some time next year :-) See you in Robert Harris.

Hi Debbie,

I know Woking well, my Mum was Born on Walton Road and I grew up in Horsell.
Papakura is good, nice town feeling but I suspect it will be absorbed into the creeping sprawl from Manukau soon and then we might move down the line to Pukekohe which even nicer imo.
