Hello Everyone
Good morning
I have posted before, but thought i'd introduce us.
We and our 2 children (16 and 12) are looking to move to NZ. Haven't been on a recce trip yet but planning on doing in Oct ish.
Where we go will depend on work - probably Auckland as I 'm a retail buyer for a big supermarket, and visa will depend on Job offer as its not on the LTSSL.
I know of a couple of retailers - Progressive, Warehouse,Woolworth, Fresh Choice (?are these the same people), and will go thru t'web to talk to them.
Can anyone out there please advise who the other big grocery retailers are ??
We are also experienced Foster Carers, but as it carries no qualifications, there are no points attached to it.
I'm also working toward a no. of outdoor ed qualifications.
Does any one know if the respective governing bodies have reciprocal agreements ?? Fairly sure the BMC/MLTE does, not sure about CTC or SMBLA (mountan biking).
Thanks - hope to hear from you soon

Re: Hello Everyone
Hello & Welcome to expats
Lots of questions, so hopefully these are some answers
Supermarkets are
www.foodstuffs.co.nz
www.progressive.co.nz
www.thewarehouse.co.nz
and that really is IT!!!!
( although I keep nagging my mate at Tesco to get them over here )
As for the foster care question, things are often done on a more informal basis here compared to the UK, to the point that a neighbour may even be a caregiver, but the place to start is
www.cyfs.govt.nz
and finally the mountain biking quals thing; www.bikenz.org.nz
Hope that all helps. I need to go and lie down in a dark room now
Good Luck

Re: Hello Everyone
P2L - thanks very much, that's really useful.
VitalS - no, not a member of CIPS - from what i know, that tends toward the procurement function, rather than category management of goods for re-sale.
Similar skills base, but we use a lot more sales based information.
Thanks
