Hello
Just joined the site today as we decided at the weekend to seriously think about making the move to NZ after spending our honeymoon there five years ago. We now have two children, a three year old girl and 4 month old little boy, and think the move would be great for them.
Am currently researching the options available to us and looking into the immigration process so great to learn from everyone else's experiences - am sure I will be the one asking the daft questions! Husband works in IT and we are thinking about the Wellington area as have some friends who moved last year and love it there
Looking forward to getting to know everyone over the next few months

lots of helpful people around this forum who are happy to answer any questions if they can, they may have already been through the immigration process or are in the same boat .... so ask away!!....no worries!Good luck with your adventure, enjoy the planning!

Thank you for the good wishes B and Luckybird - it is all very exciting at this time doing all the research and imagining the possibilities - I imagine it will be a bit nerve wracking if we do pull it off

Definitely nerve-racking, but certainly exciting!! - a whole new chapter to look forward to - we have only just completed the whole process and have been here in Napier since November - so all pretty fresh in our minds.....and pockets!!
but certainly worth it so far
Anything you need, everyone is happy to help and advise, the site was so useful for us, and gives you the real picture
